Adults 18+ only · Shared room · No appointments

Community Video Room.

Video is exclusively for adults 18 and older. Join a hosted group conversation whenever it is open—no booking, no one-on-one calls, and no mandatory camera. Everyone of every age can still visit the website, and young people remain welcome in our written community through age-appropriate participation pathways.

01 / GROUP VIDEO — COMING SOON

One room. Many perspectives.

LIVE COMMUNITY ROOM

Drop in when the host opens the room.

Adults 18+ may join when a moderator is hosting. This is one shared group room. Private video, matching, direct messages, and breakout rooms are not offered. Hosts can mute, remove, or end participation when needed for safety.

The room will not remain open unattended. It is not a 24/7 unsupervised chat room. Written discussions remain separate and can be read later.

YOUTH VOICES — IN WRITING

All ages can explore. Video stays adults-only.

Youth, families, educators, and community members are welcome to read the exhibition and written discussions. Our moderated written forum welcomes teens ages 13–17 with parent or guardian permission, after they acknowledge the participation and privacy rules. Children under 13 may explore public pages, but cannot directly submit comments here. A parent or guardian may share a child’s general reflection from their own account without revealing the child’s identity. Webcam participation remains strictly 18+.

No person under 18 may join the live video room, even with a parent or guardian present. A parent cannot waive this rule. Visit Youth & Families for the written participation pathway.

Video participation: 18+ only — website reading is open to everyone
Video has not launched yet.

The video room is not operating yet. Before opening, we must select and configure a video provider, enforce adults-only access through the provider (not just this page’s text), establish a reliable host and reporting controls, and publish provider-specific privacy details. Uploading this ZIP alone does not turn on a video service.

02 / BEFORE YOU JOIN

Open dialogue. Shared responsibility.

What is welcome: Respectful debate, hard questions, differing views, sharing creative ideas, choosing to listen, and leaving at any time. You are not required to reveal a personal history, appear on camera, or agree with the project.

What is not allowed: Threats, targeting or bullying individuals, hate-based harassment or recruitment, sexual material, nudity, exploitation or grooming, solicitation of private contact with minors, sharing someone else's private information, impersonation, spam, or unapproved screen sharing.

Privacy first: Use a nickname; do not show your address, school, identification, workplace, medical records, legal documents, or personal messages on camera or screen. What you say or show may be seen or captured by another participant despite our rules.

No recordings: The project does not plan to record or publish the calls. Do not record, screenshot, stream, or repost another person's video or audio. Recording laws and platform rules may require consent. We cannot guarantee that other participants will obey these restrictions.

Adults only: All live video participants, including the host, must be 18 or older. Minors may not join, including as accompanied guests. No private video, direct messages, breakout rooms, or invitations to move discussions into private channels. Written dialogue remains open in principle to young people through its separate youth-safety process.

Host authority: A responsible adult host must be present while the room is open, with power to mute, remove, pause, report, or end the call. If the host leaves, the room closes. Configure a waiting room, restrict screen sharing, and disable private chat, breakout rooms, cloud recording, and automatic AI transcripts where supported. Participants must be able to report unsafe conduct.

Not licensed care: This planned adult discussion room is part of a public art project, not a licensed mental health, medical, or substance-use treatment practice. It is not therapy, crisis intervention, confidential counseling, or emergency care. No provider–patient relationship is formed. The room is not active. See the Scope & Safety Notice. For immediate danger call 911; in the U.S., call or text 988.
